Who’s Hooked on Sean Coleman?

Mike Tramp of White LionLast year, I attended a great acoustic concert featuring former White Lion front man, Mike Tramp. After the show, I thanked him for his years of making music and gave him a signed copy of From a Dead Sleep. He was very gracious, and was an all around nice guy.

A few days later, I received an email from his son Dylan (who Mike had brought on tour with him). It turns out that my book was keeping the two entertained on the road, during those many hours of tour-travel across the United States. He gave my book a lot of praise, which I appreciated. I’m just glad they enjoyed it.

I later learned more about Mike’s relationship with his son, which I wrote about here.

distortionsSmallA couple of really interesting people who live in my city of Greeley, Colorado are Ed and Marsha Edmunds, the owners of Distortions Unlimited. Their company makes quality props, masks, and other creations for the dark amusement industry. They’ve even made props for Hollywood (one of the Alien movies) and famous individuals including Alice Cooper and Dick Van Dyke.

The Edmunds were reality stars on the Travel Channel’s Making Monsters television series, and you can now find them on the web-series, Creature Crüe.

After touring the intriguing Distortions Unlimited warehouse with my family, I wrote this column for my local paper. They really are amazing people.
