On April 2, John auctioned off a character name in his next book at an annual fundraiser for St. Mary’s Catholic school in Cheyenne, Wyoming. The winning bid was $550 from Patrick Madigan. Patrick Madigan will be the name of a character in the next Sean Coleman thriller, which should be out sometime in 2017.

Also at the event was legendary Nebraska football coach and keynote speaker, Tom Osborne.
